at times

i can be so nostalgic, its ridiculous.


i just spent about 2 hours looking over my senior year pictures. about half of them anyway. after looking at them and reminiscing about all i accomplished, i can safely state that i LIVED my senior year. i joined a crazy number of extracurricular activities and groups, maxed out in the leadership field, hung out with my friends ALOT, created the most elaborate yearbook LLA has to date (im giving at least 5 years before anyone can even touch what my staff did) and graduated in the most insane fashion ever.

graduation weekend alone: i got to sit in the front rows for all the events, courtesy of being a officer. got to pray for the benediction on live telecast. got to perform about 7-8 music wise at the events (accompanied ashokan farewell with desiree, bittersweet with michael, my own grace arrangement with josue and the twins, albinoni with consort seniors, sang at commencement with miranda, and organized and started the most elaborate class performance of any senior class at graduation - draw me nearer. organized and helped get together a class night posse theme numbering about 16+ people, which class night itself was exactly as i envisioned, having the coolest slideshows ive ever seen plus the transition to the ending song pretty BALLER (also my idea). got my parents to sit together (with the exception of jon jon between them) for some events. hiked to mt. rubidoux with a group of friends with less than 3 hours of sleep to beat the sunrise and watched it and talked in a emotional manner on the day of our graduation - the last day as high schoolers. all that, with 3 days later leaving for a 2 week international tour to europe.

not to mention creating probably the coolest keepsake for a historian to give the class, illumination cd (concept by me and oversaw everything). i had the most AMAZING staff i couldve ever asked for. the whole thing cost about $400+ but it was still approved by the class.




yup. i LIVED my senior year, as our class theme song was "viva la vida".


with all that said, i cannot stress enough how much i could not have done those things without my FRIENDS. without their support i couldnt have ever done that. also to my family, and most of all to God. thanks for everything you all. i had the best senior year any highly critical, sarcastic, domineering person could have ever asked for.
