have been amazing. i took a 2 hour train from niles to chicago union station, and that trip in itself was an adventure. i love traveling, and even alone it feels amazing. just me and my camera having the time of our lives. my dad came to visit me from cal/fl and its pretty cool cause i got to see all my relatives and family again. granted its not my mom or my brothers or such, but its my family nonetheless. this happens to be the side of my family in the midwest that has kids and people my age. i have so many cousins here its amazing. also, IVE EATEN SOOO MUCH. no joke. i dont think ive ever ate this much meat in my entire life + food. its been non-stop restaurant experience + home cooked food. i LOVE my family. did i mention i got over $200 (update: actually its over $300!) from my aunties and uncles secretly stuffing my pockets with money? yeah. COOL STUFF.

i think ive been one for a while, but this time its from a relative that ive known since i was little. at first i thought my dad and uncle were joking when they said that, but theyre right.

may this baby grow to be loved and cherished. im not sure if i can play a major active role in his life since im not gonna be there physically always, but i for sure want to help my nephew in whatever way i can. gonna prob start by getting him a xmas gift. havent met the dad yet, but im sure him and my cousin will be going through a long hard journey. will pray for them.
